What does it cost?
The app is free, with no fee to trade. Collecting, trading, messaging and 50 card scans a day cost nothing. Pro is an optional $4.99 a month that adds unlimited scanning, your collection’s value history, binders and price alerts. Trading is the point of the app, and that stays free.
What is Pro?
The optional paid tier, $4.99 a month. It adds unlimited card scanning, your collection’s full value history (week, month, year or all time, with market moves kept apart from cards you added or traded), binders (group your cards, or open a set as a grid of every card in it), price alerts on up to 200 cards (free members get 5), and unlimited Moxfield decks with their value kept current (free members keep 2, valued as of import). Collecting, trading, offers and messaging are free either way.
Can I buy or sell cards on TraderPost?
Not yet. Trading is the whole app right now: you and the other collector agree on the swap and hand the cards over yourselves. Buying and selling are on the roadmap, under what we’re working on now.
How far away can the other collector be?
Your call, per search: within 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 miles, or any distance at all.
How does the app know whether a trade is fair?
It totals the current market value of each side from the same daily catalog prices and shows the gap in dollars. Within 10% of the larger side reads as fair. Past that, it tells you roughly what to add. It’s a reference, not a verdict.
Which games are supported?
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Riftbound and the Gundam Card Game, with market values that refresh daily. Pokémon and Magic go back to their earliest sets — Base Set and Alpha — and the other four are complete.
Is there a web version?
Not yet. TraderPost is an iOS and Android app. This site is all there is on the web for now.
